Offida DOCG Passerina, called “Offidella”, is a wine in which the grape characteristics are very evident, both in the color and in the taste, and fully represent the territory of Offida. The production area for this wine is Offida, and it is extended until the height of 350 meters above sea level. The hills around here are unique: clay soils, steep scopes and a wide difference between day-time and night-time temperatures. The autocthonous grape Passerina, under the denomination OFFIDA DOCG, has a very low yield per hectare, about 90 Q/H. This aspect gives this wine a great concentration, noticeable by its intense yellow color and by its ripe fruit perfumes, very pleasurable while tasting.
