For sure the most representative red wine we produce! On its label it is depicted the Town Hall of Offida, where, in ancient times, the governor of the city resided, and he was called Podestà; the name of the wine comes from that. Podestà is produced only in the best vintages, with grapes that are selected and hand-picked by expert winegrowers; afterwards the wine is aged in 5000 liters barrels for a period of 24 months and then refined for about 6 months in bottles. The wine that comes from this quite long course is very pleasant, with great structure and very good drinkability thanks to the hard work for the grape selection in the Montepulciano and Sangiovese vineyards.
